My Blog Publishing Schedule

What have I been up to with my blog publishing schedule? Well, when I started this blog, I decided to post twice a week, then it went down to once a week, then I skipped weeks. Now I have decided to stay true to my first impulse and post twice a week. What will I talk about? I don’t know yet, but I hope it is interesting to whoever reads my author’s blog.

Kindle Unlimited

I decided not to put any more of my romance stories into Kindle Unlimited. I was making  ½ cent per page, which isn't a lot of money. So, it was a no-brainer.  Generally, I haven’t been making any money on Amazon lately;  it may be their mystery algorithm, but it made me think about what I want and what kind of readers I want. Any readers were good, but I am not a quick writer. I may consider Kindle Unlimited in the future, as I understand it may be key to making money.

 Raising My E-book Prices

I am raising my romance e-books to $2.99. I know a 5,000-to-7,000-word romance story at $2.99 is a hard sell, but I am doing it. I am going crazy. I am out of Kindle Unlimited and raising my prices to an exorbitant fee. My older books are still on Kindle Unlimited, so if you are a subscriber, then give them a read. They are a bit of a mess.  Forewarned is forearmed.

 Finished My Rom/Com Short Story

I am still calling my new short romance story a rom/com but barely. There are some cute moments, if I do say so myself, but laugh out loud moments, I don’t know. I will leave that up to the reader to decide. The romance e-book will be out in April. It is the first story in my Virtue series. They are the Capital virtues. I decided to do a whole post on writing rom/com and how hard it is. So, look out for it.

What have I been Snacking On?

I am eating those Nature Valley’s Oats and Honey Granola Bars. I haven’t had one in years. I used to eat them when I was a teenager. Am I dating myself? They are good, but are they good for you? I don’t know, but they taste good and sometimes that is all that matters.

 Conclusion

That is all for now. There will be two posts next week. If you want to leave a comment, you can leave it at the bottom.
