Cover Reveal for “Held Captive by My Crazy, Hot Boss”

The cover has been made for a few weeks, but I decided to finally show it on my author’s blog. I really liked the cover. It was made on Fiverr by a talented designer: Noeur E.(I hope I am not spelling her name wrong). I hope readers like it. My dark romance short comes out next week on February 4, 2026. It is more of light kind of dark romance. It is up for preorder. It is about a woman who gets a call from her boss to come to his house, and what she finds when she arrives is more than she bargains for.

 

Wondering About Romance Short Stories

I decided this year to try to make a living out of writing romance stories. I write romance short stories, around 5,000 to 7,000 words, but I am wondering if it is profitable? When I read articles about writing short stories and if it is possible to make money with them, they say it is if it is between 10,000 and 30,000 words. What do you prefer? A quick short or a longer short? I try to develop my stories and give reader’s a good experience even though my romance stories are short, but you never know. Snack I am Loving Del Monte Canned Peaches in Heavy Syrup

It hard to get peaches during the winter months but I am craving them like crazy. I have been snacking on Del Monte canned peaches in heavy syrup. I don’t drink the syrup; I take the peaches out and leave the syrup. They are sweet and delicious but not exactly cheap. One canned cost around $3.70 dollars.

 

Started the Virtue Series: Patience is the First Virtue I am Writing About

I started my Virtue series; patience being the first virtue. My first rom com. It has an interesting premise. It will be published in February.

I know, here is another indie romance author writing about the importance of leaving book reviews, but it is true. Most of the time, readers will not touch a book without a review of it. With the amount of competition on Amazon, it is even more important to leave a book review to make an author’s book stand out.
